Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility inspections | Request Quote
Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility inspections or GR&R inspections are a critical component in the validation of traditional metrology equipment and measurements for inspection. The major point of a GR&R is to determine if the Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility between the inspection equipment and the inspectors performing the measurements will be able to be repeated by all future inspectors and inspections in an accurate and efficient manner.
How it Works
Using Minitab software 3D ProScan will calculate the GR&R values for each individual measurement and piece of equipment or tool across the entire inspection. Typically a GR&R consists of 3 Trials of 3 Operators of 10 parts, Totaling 90 inspected pieces. (10 Parts x 3 Trials x 3 Operators) If needed the total number of parts, inspectors, and trials can be changed to accommodate your company’s exact needs.
